Rally Day: Nourish Your Soul

With the start of the school year in the fall, it's time to gather and reacquaint with each other, as we do every year on Rally Day. This year Rally Sunday is September 12, and we will worship together, have refreshments and fellowship and officially begin our new program year. Our these is "Nourish Your Soul,"  and members and friends are invited to our ministry fair, "Get a Taste of Faith!"

There will be tents and tables on the front lawn where you can sample treats and learn about our adult education offerings and other goings-on at Faith. Children and youth will begin their Sunday School programming on Rally Day, and adults will begin the following Sunday.

And remember our commitment to mission on Rally Day: Bring canned goods to support local food shelves.

Our new worship schedule begins on Rally Day, with the traditional worship service moving to an earlier time and the celebration service later in the morning. The new schedule is:

9-10 a.m.                Traditional Service
10-11:15 a.m.          Fellowship Time
10:20-11:15 a.m.      Education Hour
11:20-12 p.m.          Celebration Service

Get to know your fellow members better

Calling all adults who enjoy fellowship and food. Consider joining Round Robin this year. The more people that participate, the more fun is had by all.

Groups of 7 to 8 people will be assembled to meet together for dinner and fellowship 4-5 times from October through May. Groups can meet for potluck in homes or at church or they may meet at a restaurant. Each group is responsible for when and where it meets. The first dinner will have an assigned host who will assist in coordinating future dinners for your group. A sign-up sheet will be at the Welcome Center. Groups will be assigned by mid-October.

If you have any questions or want to sign up via email/phone/in-person, please contact Barbara Greicius at 651-340-9855 or email greicius2003[at]yahoo.com.
